Bromley Town Centre’s selection as a Night Time Enterprise Zone saw the exciting BR1 Lates events bring visitors to the town centre, with high street improvements also delivered. To build on this success, a Night Strategy is now being developed to extend the learnings and benefits across the borough. To help inform the development of a Night Strategy feedback is being sought for those that visit, work and do business in the borough at night.

BR1 Lates
A series of evening events and projects to boost Bromley’s night time economy took place through 2023, which was delivered along with further high street improvement following Bromley town centre’s selection as a Night Time Enterprise Zone.
These events were Library Lates, High Street Lates and the Winter Lights Spectacular
Alongside the entertainment programme, improvements such as lighting upgrades will be delivered to create a welcoming town centre.
The NTEZ project saw over £250,000 invested in events and improved infrastructure in Bromley town centre with Bromley Council and partner, Your Bromley, collectively providing match funding to the grant received from the Mayor of London. The event programme was delivered in partnership with Greenwich Leisure Limited, Proactive Bromley and Your Bromley.
Following this programme and the connecting investment, a Night Strategy is now being developed to extend the learnings and benefits of this work across the borough.
