Greener Bromley Pilot Scheme
Delivered as part of the Bromley Business Growth programmes and funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), the Greener Bromley Pilot Scheme allows businesses to understand and improve their environmental impact, and develop a structured framework for fostering sustainable business growth.
Businesses can fully control their environmental impact by utilising the Green Mark sustainability professionals, pledging to improve their sustainability and carbon through the Green Mark Accreditation framework. As part of its initiatives, the council aims to provide support & establish a network of businesses working together to make the borough greener.

GREENER BROMLEY PILOT SCHEME GUIDANCE
Please read all the guidance information carefully before applying . Businesses must meet all criteria set out to qualify. Submitting an application or meeting the criteria does not guarantee acceptance into the scheme. By applying, you accept all aspects of this guidance. Decisions by the selection panel are final and there is no right of appeal.
What’s the process?
In just 8-12 hours spread over 6 weeks, your business will be accredited and awarded a certification pack, which includes badges and certificates that can be displayed on storefronts and websites, providing a visible and recognisable symbol of your sustainable achievements and commitment to reducing your environmental impact.
This pilot scheme is limited to 10 Bromley businesses so, if you are interested in participating, please sign up by filling in the form by the closing date of 26/07/2024. Places are limited and the application window will close early if the Council deems there are enough applications for this scheme.

To qualify for the Greener Bromley Pilot Scheme your business must:
Other Criteria
- Applicants may be rate payers or non-rate payers
- Applicants must be the owner or representative of the owner
- Applicants must not be in liquidation or bankrupt
- Existing Business rate accounts must be up to date or a payment plan agreed
- Applicants must meet the relevant subsidy control requirements
- The business must not have breached regulations and been issued a prohibition notice
